Anyone can make an appointment to see Dr David Samra.

As Dr Samra is a Specialist - a Referral is required.

A valid Referral has to be current and come from a General Practitioner or another Specialist.
If you are an existing patient and develop a new problem, an Initial Consultation is required and you may obtain a new GP referral.

  • Appointment Confirmations

    Mobile phone SMS or text messages are sent from our system. The text message also has the location of your appointment at the end of the message. Replying Y will confirm your appointment. We regularly send secure electronic verifications, which confirm to us that you are receiving the texts/emails.


    Patients without mobile phones need to phone the rooms to confirm more than 2 working days prior to the appointment. Alternately you can email a confirmation to the practice.

  • Appointment Cancellations

    We understand that important and unavoidable issues arise that prevent patients from attending. Since we offer a high standard of care for complex issues, last minute cancellations are a great disruption to the practice. Due to the difficulty of filling last-minute cancellations, we respectfully request you call to provide at least 2 business days notice if you are unable to attend. Text or email are not appropriate channels for cancellation. 


    If this request is not fulfilled, it will be necessary to charge a 50% fee for missed appointments or last-minute cancellations. No further appointments will be made until this fee is paid.


    SMS reminders are sent at 5 business days prior and 3 business days prior to appointments to allow rescheduling, however a fee of 50% of the consultation fee may be applicable for cancellations with under 2 business days notice or non-attendance without notice. 



    Patients under a third party insurance scheme must ensure they have approval at the time of booking and are personally liable for these fees for non-attendance, and will not be re-booked until payment is received.


    Please understand that we consider this a last resort, with the real motivating factor being our concern for the quality of service we are able to provide to you, and to our other valued patients.

  • Late Arrival Policy

    Late Arrivals Make it Difficult for Everyone


    We do understand that circumstances may arise unexpectedly, however, late arrivals tend to compromise the punctuality of service we are able to provide to you, as well as our other patients.


    We do maintain a relatively tight schedule, and we make every attempt to begin your appointment at the time scheduled. 


    If you arrive late we reserve the right to reschedule or reduce the length of the consultation or procedure to ensure that their next scheduled appointment does not have to be put behind.


    If you believe you will be late it would be appreciated if you could call ahead and advise the reception as alternative arrangements may be possible.

  • Multiple Bookings

    Multiple person bookings and multiple service booking (3 or more services) may require a credit card to be placed on file to book the appointments.


    Your credit card will be charged if your appointment is cancelled within 48 hours prior to the scheduled appointment. This includes late or no-show appointments

  • No Show Policy

    For unattended appointments without notice it will be necessary to charge a 50% fee. Like last minute cancellations we respectfully request 2 business days' notice if you are unable to attend.
